British Wrestling Fan Found Dead in Las Vegas Motel During WrestleMania Weekend
Marc Izard, a 43-year-old British wrestling fan, was found dead on April 18 in a motel off the Las Vegas Strip after vanishing during WWE’s WrestleMania weekend, authorities confirmed.
The death of Izard, who was attending the annual WWE wrestling extravaganza, was ruled from “natural causes related to his underlying medical conditions,” according to his family and coroner officials. His body was discovered at the Oasis Motel, located at 1731 South Las Vegas Blvd, approximately five miles north of the T-Mobile Arena where WWE’s “SmackDown” event took place the night before.
Izard had been immersed in the wrestling festivities for days, including attending a book signing for Canadian wrestler Natalya “Nattie” Neidhart at the Horseshoe Las Vegas on April 16. He was last publicly seen at the “SmackDown” show on April 17 before he mysteriously went missing and missed his scheduled return flight home.
