Samsung Unveils Bespoke AI Ice Purifier for Modern Kitchens

Samsung has launched the Bespoke AI Ice Purifier, a dual-function appliance that combines a water purifier with an ice maker. This innovative product aims to enhance hygiene and convenience in modern kitchens through advanced technology and personalized user experiences. The Bespoke AI Ice Purifier is equipped with intelligent cleaning systems, voice control, and a user-friendly touchscreen display.

Advanced Filtration System and Ice Production

At the heart of the Bespoke AI Ice Purifier is a sophisticated four-stage filtration system certified by NSF International. This system is engineered to eliminate particles up to 1,000 times smaller than a human hair, effectively targeting harmful substances such as bacteria, microplastics, and heavy metals, including chromium, lead, and mercury. The purifier can filter out a total of 82 harmful substances, ensuring that consumers have access to clean and safe drinking water.

In addition to its purification capabilities, the appliance features an AI-powered ice maker that can produce up to 1,000 ice cubes per day, equivalent to approximately 8 kilograms of ice. It has the capability to store up to 100 ice cubes at any given time. Samsung has included an AI-assisted electrolysis process that sterilizes the water pipe every three days, while monthly cleaning of the ice box and tray further enhances safety. To prevent contamination from harmful microorganisms, the dispensing unit is protected by UV sterilization.

Smart Features and Personalization Options

The Bespoke AI Ice Purifier is designed for ease of use, featuring built-in Bixby voice recognition. This allows users to control water volume and temperature through vocal commands. The system can identify individual voices and remember preferences for different family members, enabling precise adjustments to water flow ranging from 50ml to 1,000ml and temperatures up to 90 degrees Celsius via the SmartThings app.

A built-in touchscreen on the front panel offers quick access to settings, weather updates, and timers. The appliance can remember up to 20 customized presets, catering to various uses, including coffee brewing and different ramen recipes.

The pricing for the Bespoke AI Ice Purifier is set at KRW 2.39 million, roughly equivalent to $1,650 in South Korea. This new addition to Samsung’s product lineup reflects the company’s commitment to integrating smart technology into everyday life, meeting the needs of modern consumers who seek both functionality and convenience in their kitchen appliances.
