Credit One Bank provided an extraordinary experience for participants from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada during the Vegas Golden Knights game against the Chicago Blackhawks on December 2, 2023. This event was part of the bank’s ongoing Number One Fan initiative, aimed at creating memorable opportunities for local youth.
The journey began on November 26, 2023, when the Littles and their Bigs gathered at the Golden Knights’ practice facility. Here, they enjoyed a special skating event on the rink, culminating in an exciting surprise: they would attend an upcoming Golden Knights home game. The group was then taken to the team store, where they chose Golden Knights gear to wear for the game day.
On the day of the game, the participants were transported in style via a private charter bus to T-Mobile Arena. Upon arrival, they were treated to a pre-game practice viewing, which set the stage for the excitement to come. During the game, they watched from the Credit One Bank suite, where they had the chance to meet VGK mascot Chance and members of the Vegas Vivas dance team. The night concluded with the Golden Knights securing a thrilling 4-3 victory in a shootout, amplifying the joy of the occasion.
