Urgent Search for Missing West Fargo Woman Intensifies Today

UPDATE: Authorities are urgently seeking public assistance in the search for 25-year-old Isadora Wengel, who has been missing since New Year’s Eve. The Fargo and West Fargo police departments have called on residents of Otter Tail County, Minnesota, to help locate her.

Residents, businesses, and property owners are asked to review any security camera footage captured between 2:00 AM and 5:30 AM on January 7 for any suspicious activity or potential sightings of Wengel. She is described as 5 feet 3 inches, weighing 175 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a distinctive white cardigan with pink hearts, believed to be the Taylor Swift “Lover” cardigan, along with blue jeans and either white Air Force 1 shoes or Ugg boots.

Fargo Police Chief David Zibolski revealed in a press conference that the investigation into Wengel’s disappearance may involve “foul play.” The police are broadening their search efforts, now urging all residents in the Fargo-Moorhead area to check their camera footage dating back to December 31.

Earlier this week, search efforts focused on a south Fargo apartment and the nearby Fargo Landfill. Police are emphasizing that any information, no matter how small, could be vital to the case.

Otter Tail County residents with relevant video footage or information are urged to contact the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office at (218) 998-8555. For those in the Fargo area, tips can be directed to the Red River Regional Dispatch Center at (701) 451-7660 or submitted anonymously by texting the keyword FARGOPD or WFPD to 847411.

Authorities are stressing the urgency of this matter as the search for Isadora Wengel continues. Every minute counts in locating her and bringing her home safely.
