Unison Bank’s $250,000 Gift Fuels Urgent Campus Transformation

BREAKING: Unison Bank’s generous $250,000 donation is transforming campus life at the University of Jamestown, fueling the launch of The Well Coffee Shop within the newly opened Reuben and Clarice Liechty Center for Faith and Life. This vibrant new hub opened its doors this fall, and is already becoming the go-to destination for students and community members seeking connection and rejuvenation.

Located strategically between the historic Voorhees Chapel and the Badal Nafus Student Union, The Well is more than just a coffee shop. It symbolizes a space for refreshment, reflection, and spiritual growth, aligning perfectly with the university’s faith-based mission.

Brett Moser, Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations, expressed gratitude for Unison Bank’s support, stating, “It is a special place for the campus and community to enjoy. The generosity of others turned this vision into something meaningful for decades to come.”

The Liechty Center, home to the Unruh School of Character in Leadership, features conference rooms, faculty offices, and collaborative study spaces, enhancing the academic environment.

Unison Bank’s President and CEO, Kelly Rachel, emphasized that this investment transcends coffee. “We were excited about creating a space where students feel cared for, energized, and supported. When students have a place that nourishes both their minds and spirits, they’re more equipped to dream bigger and build the futures God is calling them toward,” Rachel highlighted.

Founded in 1965 in Jamestown, Unison Bank has a rich history of supporting education and community initiatives. Rachel reinforced the bank’s commitment, stating, “We give back because helping others achieve their dreams is at the core of who we are. The boldest change we hope to spark is a culture of intentionality where students are living with purpose.”

As students gather at The Well, the atmosphere is charged with creativity and connection. It is quickly becoming a sanctuary where individuals pause, pray, and explore their deeper purpose during their college journey.
