San Jose Woman Arrested for Murder After Fatal Hit-and-Run

UPDATE: A 34-year-old woman, identified as Yanette Beas Solorio, has been arrested for murder following a fatal hit-and-run incident in San Jose on Sunday night. The shocking event occurred just before 7:30 PM at the intersection of Winchester Boulevard and Tisch Way, prompting an immediate police response.

Witnesses reported a woman lying in the roadway after the collision. Emergency medical personnel quickly transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, as authorities await confirmation and notification of her next of kin.

According to San Jose police Sgt. Jorge Garibay, preliminary investigations suggest the collision was an intentional act. The motive remains unclear, with the circumstances surrounding the incident still under investigation.

Police located Beas Solorio approximately two miles from the scene in Santa Clara. She was subsequently arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently being held at the Santa Clara County Jail without bail.
