Sally J. Ifkovits, 62, Passes Away; Memorial Services Announced

BREAKING: Sally J. Ifkovits, a beloved member of the Northampton community, has passed away at the age of 62. She died peacefully on November 20, 2025, surrounded by her family in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

This tragic news comes just days before scheduled memorial services, drawing attention to the impact Sally had on those around her. She was a dedicated professional, spending over 32 years at People First Federal Credit Union, where she rose from member services manager to card and ATM operations manager.

Sally is remembered not only for her career but for her deep love for her family, particularly her grandson, Paxton, who was her greatest joy. She leaves behind her husband, Michael J. Ifkovits, with whom she celebrated 37 years of marriage, as well as her sons, Riley and Alex, and their wives, Kelly and Anna.

Visitation services are set for Tuesday, December 2nd, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Reichel Funeral Home located at 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. A prayer service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Northampton.
