URGENT UPDATE: Guam is set for an action-packed weekend with two major races lined up that promise fun and community spirit. Kicking off the weekend is the 2025 Triple J Bubble Color Run on Saturday, October 14, followed by the 4th Annual Veterans 5K run and walk on Sunday, October 15.
The Triple J Bubble Color Run is a vibrant 5K/10K event that brings families together for a morning of color and excitement. Participants are urged to arrive early, with show time at 5:15 a.m. and the race beginning at 6 a.m. at the Triple J Showroom in Upper Tumon. Registration is only $15 for the 5K and $20 for the 10K, with group rates available. Proceeds will support local charities including Guam Cancer Care, Bake Their Day, and Safe Haven Pregnancy Center, making this a race with a cause.

On Sunday, the weekend continues with HMI’s 4th Annual Veterans 5K run and walk, which aims to empower veterans and strengthen community ties. The event kicks off at 4 p.m. at CHamoru Village in Hagåtña, with the race starting at 5 p.m.. The first 200 finishers will receive special shirts, encouraging participation and support for local veterans.
