UPDATE: The City of Batavia is set to unveil its new police station on December 8, marking a significant upgrade in public safety operations. All police activities will transition to the state-of-the-art facility located at 31 Bank Street.
The new station’s lobby will welcome visitors on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., enhancing community access to law enforcement services. In a proactive move, city officials have announced that Alva Place will be closed from Bank Street to the Batavia City Center parking lot until construction is fully completed, affecting traffic patterns in the area. Residents are encouraged to utilize the parking lot at the Batavia City Center during this time.
The Batavia Police Department reassured residents that their non-emergency phone line remains unchanged at (585) 345-6350, ensuring continued communication with the community.
