UPDATE: The Annual Friends of the Conant Public Library Arts & Crafts Show is set to take place at a new location this year, promising more space and convenience for attendees! Scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event will be hosted at the Houghton Elementary and Chocksett Middle Schools, located at 32 Boutelle Road in Sterling, MA.
This year, shoppers can explore a wider array of handmade holiday gifts from over 50 local artisans. “The new venue allows space for even more artists and craftspeople,” said Beth Cyr, chairperson of the craft fair. “As this popular juried event continues to grow, we’re excited to welcome returning favorites and new participants alike.”
Attendees will find a diverse selection of high-quality items, including alpaca products, aromatherapy goods, pottery, jewelry, and unique offerings like pet portraits and vintage teacup candles. The event will also retain beloved traditions such as the bake sale, cheese sale, and raffle, ensuring the holiday spirit remains intact.
Admission is just $2, with proceeds benefiting programs at the Conant Public Library. Each shopper will receive a “Passport” that can be stamped at three locations for a chance to win a special prize. The fair is co-sponsored by All One Credit Union, and while vendor spaces are currently full, interested artisans can join the waiting list by emailing [email protected].
