The men’s FA Cup first round is set to follow, with matches scheduled from October 31 through November 3, 2023.

Pete Thomas, the head of football at TNT Sports, outlined the broadcaster’s vision for enhancing the viewing experience. “What’s gone before has been excellent,” Thomas stated regarding TNT Sports’ previous coverage. “But I think we definitely want to bring our stamp to it and challenge the norm.” He explained that TNT Sports aims to provide exceptional coverage comparable to that of the Premier League and Champions League, utilizing their extensive experience in high-profile football broadcasting.

The broadcaster plans to air 19 matches from the Women’s FA Cup this season, while Channel 4 will show one match per round starting from the third round. Thomas highlighted the need for a tailored approach to match coverage, acknowledging that the audiences for men’s and women’s football can differ significantly. “We know that the women’s game is currently riding a massive high after the Euro success,” he noted, citing increased attendance and engagement from younger fans.
