L.A. County Expands Voting Access with 140 New Centers

Los Angeles County has increased voting accessibility ahead of the November 4, 2025, special election by opening an additional 140 vote centers. This expansion supplements the 111 sites previously established for the election, which focuses on redrawing California’s congressional districts.

All 251 vote centers are operational daily from 10:00 to 19:00 for in-person voting, voter registration, and the return of vote-by-mail ballots. Voters can easily locate their nearest centers, as the county has mailed postcards listing the locations of the 11-day and four-day vote centers.

Convenient Voting Options for Residents

Dean C. Logan, the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, emphasized the importance of early voting in a recent statement. “With all L.A. County Vote Centers open, voters have convenient options to cast their ballot early,” Logan stated. He encouraged residents to plan ahead to avoid the last-minute rush and take advantage of the extended voting options available this weekend and through Monday.

Voters can find a complete list and map of Vote Center locations online at locator.lavote.gov. The site also offers GPS tracking to help users identify the closest vote center based on their current location.

In addition, eligible voters who may have missed the registration deadline can visit any of the vote centers to complete a “conditional” voter registration and cast their ballot for this election.

This proactive approach by Los Angeles County aims to ensure that all eligible voters can participate in the upcoming election, highlighting the importance of accessible voting in a democratic society.
