Undergraduate students at Syracuse University are encouraged to participate in the Orange Survey, which aims to gather insights about their experiences on campus. The survey, which closes on December 7, 2025, provides a platform for students to voice their opinions on academics, campus life, finances, and co-curricular activities.
By completing the survey, students will not only contribute to enhancing university programs and resources but also stand a chance to win prizes. Participants will be entered into random drawings for various rewards, including $75 gift cards for popular retailers like Amazon, Target, and Etsy, as well as early registration for Fall 2026 courses.
Accessing and Completing the Survey
Students can access the Orange Survey through a unique link sent to their Syracuse University email accounts. Friendly reminders have also been provided to encourage participation. According to the university, completing the survey takes approximately 10 minutes.
The feedback gathered is essential for informing the development of student-focused programs, services, and resources. “Hearing directly from students is the best way for Syracuse University to know what really needs to improve,” stated Safiyyah Subhan-Khan, a student from the School of Architecture. She highlighted the importance of the survey as a means for students to express what is working and what requires change.
Confidentiality and Community Impact
All responses to the survey are kept confidential, with results reported in aggregate form. This ensures that individual feedback is protected while still providing valuable insights for the university.
Students are encouraged to complete the survey as soon as possible and to remind their peers to participate. Jayeola Oluokun, a student in the College of Arts and Sciences, emphasized the collective benefit of participation. “If I’m going through something on campus, good or bad, I’m sure I’m not the only one… [Completing the survey] lets me help my community out, so why wouldn’t I say something?”
For further information about the Orange Survey, students can visit the survey’s dedicated webpage. The initiative reflects Syracuse University’s commitment to enhancing the undergraduate experience by actively seeking and integrating student feedback.
