The annual Lights of Love Ceremony, organized by the Cullman Regional Foundation, will take place on December 9, 2025, at 6 p.m. in St. John’s Christ Hall. This cherished event invites community members to participate in celebrating and honoring loved ones by purchasing a light on the Christmas tree at Cullman Regional. Gifts ranging from $20 to $60 or more will contribute to the Foundation’s efforts to enhance healthcare services in the region.
Attendees can make a tax-deductible donation in memory of someone special, with special acknowledgement cards sent to both honorees and the families of those being remembered. “Special music during the program will be provided by the Daystar Praise Team, at which time individuals will be recognized,” stated Maria Stanford, Executive Director of the Cullman Regional Foundation. She emphasized that the event is open to the public, encouraging everyone to attend.
Dedication to Hospice Patients
This year’s ceremony will honor Cullman Regional Hospice patients and will be dedicated to the memory of James Edge and in honor of Cindy Ponder. Community members are invited to contribute throughout the holiday season, with all donations received by December 8 being recognized during the special ceremony.
Those interested in supporting the cause can donate online at www.cullmanregional.com/foundation/events or contact the Foundation at 256-737-2565 for further information. Contributions can be made in memory or in honor of individuals, ensuring that the spirit of love and remembrance continues to shine brightly during this festive season.
