Jerome F. Bartel, aged 91, of Inver Grove Heights, passed away on December 31, 2025. He is survived by his devoted wife, Judith “Judy” Bartel, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage. The couple built a life together that was filled with love, family, and lasting memories.
In addition to his wife, Bartel leaves behind his children, Susan Carroll and David Bartel, and his grandson, Paxton Carroll. He is also remembered by his brother-in-law, Ted Horner, and many other family members and friends who cherished his presence in their lives.
Memorial Services Scheduled
A memorial service will be held at Klecatsky & Sons West Chapel on January 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to gather two hours prior to the service to share their memories and celebrate Bartel’s life. The chapel is located at 1051 South Robert Street in West St. Paul.
Following the memorial service, a private entombment will take place at Riverview Cemetery in St. Paul. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul, an organization dedicated to providing support to those in need.
