Doris C. Schleh, a cherished figure in her community, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on December 5, 2025, at the age of 93. Her life was marked by love and dedication to her family and friends, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered fondly by those who knew her.
Born to Thora and Gaylord Geary, Doris enjoyed a full life enriched by relationships with her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Edward Matsen and Charles Schleh, as well as her son, John Matsen, and granddaughter, Teasha Matsen. Doris also mourned the loss of her siblings, sisters Norma Kjos and Viola Hauge, along with her brother Arnold Geary.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Nancy, and her grandsons, Tyler and Jacob. Family gatherings were a source of joy for Doris, who delighted in dressing up and enjoying social outings. She often spent Tuesday nights dancing with her friends at the Red Barn, a beloved local venue, and cherished lunch outings with family.
Celebration of Life Scheduled
A gathering to honor Doris’s memory will take place at Wulff Funeral Home, located at 1485 White Bear Ave. N., St. Paul, Minnesota 55106. Friends and family are invited to come together on February 27, 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00. This event will provide an opportunity for those who knew Doris to celebrate her life and share their fond memories.
