Megyn Kelly and Mark Levin Clash Over Anti-Christian Remarks

A public feud has erupted between former Fox News colleagues Megyn Kelly and Mark Levin, following a disagreement over comments made on social media. The dispute began when Levin criticized MAGA influencer Jack Posobiec for displaying a rosary during his appearance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest on December 15, 2023. Levin, who identifies as Jewish, called Posobiec a “crackpot,” prompting Kelly to defend him.

In a post on X, Kelly expressed her support for Posobiec, stating, “Off to go pray the beautiful rosary @JackPosobiec gave me, like virtually all Christians do, which doesn’t make us ‘crackpots’ no matter what some old, angry anti-Christian nut on weekend Fox says.” She further added, “Never could get himself into the prime time. Sad!” Kelly’s comments reflect her ongoing engagement in the culture wars, particularly within conservative circles.

Levin, 68, responded later that same day, promising a more detailed counterargument on his radio show. He criticized both Kelly and Posobiec, stating, “It’s not possible to keep up with the Woke Reich psychos and groyper-bigots like Megyn Kelly on social media.” He also described Kelly as a “click wh*re” and suggested she “needs a psychiatrist,” aligning with his more aggressive style of commentary.

The conflict intensified as Levin continued to criticize Posobiec for his associations, specifically referencing a video of fitness podcaster Myron Gaines using antisemitic slurs against a Jewish woman at the conference. Levin stated, “Here’s the lowlife Jack Posobiec pals around with,” highlighting a photograph of the two together. He accused Posobiec of failing to condemn Gaines and labeled his defense as “repulsive deflective propaganda.”

Levin did not spare Kelly from his criticisms, contending that her support for Posobiec placed her in the same category as other controversial figures, including Candace Owens. He asserted that both are “very sinister grifters,” alleging that they exploit their platforms for personal gain.

This feud arrives amid Kelly’s broader criticisms of conservative figures within the media landscape, including Ben Shapiro and Bari Weiss. In recent statements, she claimed these individuals contribute to the rise of antisemitism, which drew a response from the Anti-Defamation League. The organization cautioned that such comments could lead to dangerous implications, likening it to victim-blaming narratives historically directed at Jewish individuals.

Kelly, a well-known media figure recognized for her interviews and political analysis, previously served as a prominent host on Fox News. Levin, known for his forthright opinions and strong pro-Israel stance, has built his reputation as a conservative voice through various media channels, including his Fox News program, Life, Liberty and Levin.

As the situation unfolds, both Kelly and Levin continue to engage their respective audiences, reflecting the polarized nature of contemporary political discourse within the United States. The clash serves as a reminder of the ongoing tensions within right-wing media, where alliances and rivalries can shift rapidly and dramatically.
