The Lions’ offense capitalized on several turnovers from White Castle, with quarterback Leron McDowell leading the charge. Key players included Kason Tanner, who made ten receptions and scored two touchdowns, and Preston LeBlanc, who also caught a touchdown pass. The Griffins, now 5-2 overall and 3-1 in their district, demonstrated resilience despite not playing at their best, according to Coach Guy Mistretta. Quarterback Owen Fletcher contributed significantly, passing for 153 yards and rushing for another 78 yards, including one touchdown. Running back Maki Hill added 89 yards and two touchdowns to the scoreboard.
