Siasun Launches Innovative Robot for Safe Skyscraper Cleaning

Chinese robotics manufacturer Siasun Robot & Automation has introduced a new high-altitude exterior wall cleaning robot. This innovative system aims to enhance safety and efficiency for cleaning skyscrapers, addressing the significant risks associated with traditional manual cleaning methods.

In a recent statement, Siasun emphasized that its new robot was developed in collaboration with various partners. The company noted that the current practice of having workers clean building exteriors while suspended at heights poses extreme dangers, including the threat of falls, adverse weather conditions, and long-term health issues. This system combines a push rod and suction cup to generate a strong suction force, effectively anchoring the robot to vertical surfaces. This design allows the system to quickly soften dirt while simultaneously rinsing and scraping in one pass. Siasun claims that the robot achieves a cleaning rate of approximately 1.5 square meters per minute while consuming only 8 liters of water per hour.
