Reflecting on her call-up, Legend expressed gratitude for her time in NXT, where she spent nearly five years. She revealed that she had an intuitive sense about her promotion, stating, “Honestly? No. I think, honestly, the past year I’ve been knowing that… I’ve just been having a feeling of knowing in my gut since we had the storyline around this time last year.” Legend highlighted the optimism she maintained during this period, emphasizing that it was not a question of if she would be called up, but when.
Her support system played a crucial role during her journey. Legend mentioned her real-life partner, Trick Williams, who understands the wrestling business and has been a significant source of encouragement.
