Police Arrest Suspect in N.J. Dispensary Robbery with Crowbar

BREAKING: Authorities have arrested a suspect in the shocking robbery of a cannabis dispensary in Woodbury, New Jersey. Police confirmed that Theodore D. Sparks, aged 25, is in custody following a dramatic incident on November 3, 2023.

Just moments after the robbery, officers responded to the Nova Farms cannabis dispensary located on the 600 block of Mantua Avenue. A man, identified as Sparks, entered the establishment through a drive-thru window while wearing a distinctive wolf mask and brandishing a crowbar. He confronted employees and demanded cash, stealing the cash drawer before fleeing the scene.

No serious injuries were reported, but the horrifying incident left employees shaken. Police released images from their investigation, showing Sparks wielding the crowbar outside the dispensary and a startling shot of him falling from the drive-thru window while escaping.

Following an extensive investigation, Woodbury Police executed a search warrant at Sparks’ residence on South Childs Street. During questioning, Sparks confessed to the robbery and revealed he spent the stolen money at an Atlantic City casino shortly after the crime.

Sparks has been charged with multiple offenses, including first-degree robbery, second-degree burglary, and third-degree theft. He is currently detained pending a hearing.
