L’Jarius Sneed Indicted for Failure to Report Shooting in Texas

BREAKING: Tennessee Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed has been indicted in Dallas County, Texas, for failing to report a felony linked to a shooting incident in December 2024. This urgent development comes as the NFL community is closely monitoring the legal implications for the 28-year-old player.

Court records reveal that Sneed was indicted for a class A misdemeanor, which carries a potential penalty of up to $4,000 in fines and/or a year in county jail. The indictment follows a December 6, 2024, shooting at One Legacy Motors, a car dealership in Carrollton, Texas, where Sneed and another man, Tekonzae Williams, allegedly fired at individuals inside a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon from a rented Lamborghini Urus.

While no one was injured in the shooting, the bullets reportedly struck both the Mercedes and the dealership building, prompting a civil lawsuit seeking over $1 million in damages against Sneed and Williams. Williams faces a separate charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

In response to these serious allegations, the Titans issued a statement, stating, “We are aware of the legal matter with L’Jarius Sneed and have remained in contact with NFL security per league protocol. We will have no further comment during an ongoing investigation.”

Sneed is currently in his sixth NFL season and second with the Titans. He played in the first seven games of the season before being placed on the injured reserve list due to a leg injury sustained on October 19.

Previously, Sneed spent four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he contributed to two Super Bowl victories. Throughout his NFL career, he has recorded 352 tackles, 43 pass deflections, 10 interceptions, 6.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries in 69 games played.

As this story develops, the implications for Sneed’s career and the Titans’ future remain uncertain. Fans and analysts alike are urged to stay tuned for updates on this unfolding situation.
