Louis Vuitton Launches Urgent Holiday Campaign Celebrating Light

BREAKING: Louis Vuitton has just unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 holiday campaign, titled ‘Le Voyage des Lumières,’ which celebrates the magic of light. This urgent update emphasizes travel and connection through a stunning film directed by Jonas Lindstroem, known for his evocative visual storytelling.

The campaign’s film follows a monogrammed lantern as it journeys from Louis Vuitton’s workshops near Paris to a breathtaking snowscape, where it illuminates the night sky amidst the northern lights. Viewers are transported to a festive gathering where people engage in activities like backgammon and dancing around a campfire. The enchanting voyage culminates with a spectacular display of lanterns above the iconic Paris skyline, as a mother and child gaze from the historic Pont Neuf, adjacent to Louis Vuitton’s headquarters.

This launch coincides with the ongoing Yi Peng festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where thousands have gathered to release floating rice paper lanterns, further enhancing the campaign’s theme of illumination and celebration.

This marks only the second collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Lindstroem, who previously captured images for the Tambour Street Diver watch in 2023. The holiday campaign features an array of classic handbag styles, including the black My Capucines and red Speedy P9, along with the Monogram canvas Side Trunk and a Christopher backpack.

Pop-up experiences for this campaign have already begun, with one location opening on November 1 and remaining open for 15 days. Another pop-up will launch at the TRX mall in Kuala Lumpur from November 27 until January 4, and a third will open at the Westfield shopping center in Sydney from November 18 until the end of December.

Expect to see eye-catching window displays worldwide, featuring a midnight-blue backdrop adorned with Chinese lantern illuminations, trunks, and elements from the Monogram canvas motif, creating a festive atmosphere.
