Eric Rosenbrook Challenges Baby’s Death Ruling with Private Examiner

Eric Rosenbrook, a star from the reality television series 90 Day Fiancé, is contesting the official findings regarding the death of his infant daughter, Alisa. He and his wife, Leida Margaretha, have engaged a private medical examiner to scrutinize the autopsy results, which the couple disputes, labeling the incident as “non-accidental.” According to information obtained from TMZ, Rosenbrook believes the initial examination was flawed and inadequately assessed critical evidence.

The couple’s private medical examiner has allegedly identified significant oversights in the autopsy process. Rosenbrook claims that their expert found that essential steps were omitted and that the report did not accurately determine the age of a fracture mentioned during the investigation. He further asserts that one injury discovered may have occurred during childbirth, potentially linked to the cesarean section performed approximately five weeks prior to Alisa’s death.

Rosenbrook noted that a rib fracture identified in the report might have resulted from resuscitation efforts, as it is not uncommon for ribs to sustain damage during CPR. He has expressed strong dissatisfaction with the handling of the case by the Adams County Health and Human Services Department, stating that they have engaged in a confrontational exchange regarding the assessment. According to Rosenbrook, the local sheriff’s department has cleared Leida of any wrongdoing in connection with their daughter’s death.

The investigation remains active, and no criminal charges have been filed related to the incident. Rosenbrook claims that he and Leida requested a review of additional evidence months ago, but he alleges that health authorities were unresponsive to their concerns.

In a pointed critique of Child Protective Services, Rosenbrook described the agency as “the definition of fascism,” asserting that their approach is excessively punitive towards parents. He remarked, “As far as CPS goes, they’re a hammer and every parent is a nail.”

Leida previously denied any culpability regarding the circumstances surrounding Alisa’s death, which occurred shortly after the infant was taken off life support in July 2025. As for the couple’s future family plans, Rosenbrook indicated that they have yet to make a decision about attempting to have another child.

The ongoing investigation and the couple’s independent efforts highlight the complexities surrounding this tragic case. As they navigate their grief and challenges, the resolution of the findings and their implications remain a critical focus for Rosenbrook and Margaretha.
