Five-Year-Old Boy Injured in Urgent Manes Crash Today

BREAKING: A five-year-old boy from Mountain Grove has sustained minor injuries following a serious crash this morning, as confirmed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 AM on Monday, October 30, 2023, just five miles south of Manes on Route 95.

The crash involved a 2023 Ram 1500 driven by a 39-year-old Mountain Grove man who was attempting to make a left turn when he was struck by a 2016 Kia Sportage operated by a 38-year-old Mountain Grove woman. The young boy was a passenger in the Kia and was quickly transported by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston for treatment.

Both vehicles were deemed totaled due to the severity of the collision, but fortunately, both drivers were wearing safety devices at the time.
