The match, held in Woodland, started competitively, with Tumwater only trailing by five points at the end of the first quarter. However, Woodland surged in the second quarter, scoring 25 points compared to Tumwater’s 19, extending their lead to 11 points by halftime. Despite a spirited comeback effort that brought Tumwater within two points in the third quarter, the Beavers finished strong with an 18-9 run to secure the win.
Foul trouble plagued Tumwater, resulting in five players fouling out during the game. Leading the Thunderbirds was Maesyn Williams with 13 points, while Kamryn Wilson added 11 points, along with five rebounds and three assists. Additionally, Cadynce Lee contributed eight points, five rebounds, and four steals. Anden Demaris also played a crucial role, recording seven points and 11 rebounds.
