Mosley, who began his presidency in July 2023, previously served as president of Morningside University in Iowa. That evening, a Presidential Inaugural Scholarship Gala will take place at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. The gala will feature a keynote address from Dr. Michael Lomax, President and CEO of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), alongside a special performance by Grammy Award-winning artist Yolanda Adams. This high-profile event not only celebrates the inauguration but also aims to raise funds for student scholarships.
