Omarion Hampton is taking time to recharge following the Los Angeles Chargers’ disappointing early playoff exit. In the wake of the team’s loss to the New England Patriots, the NFL player is enjoying a beach vacation alongside his girlfriend, Lilly Heder. Heder recently shared images on her Instagram, showcasing the couple relaxing on a sunlit deck at an oceanfront property.
The Chargers faced a challenging postseason, culminating in a crushing defeat against the Patriots. The game was particularly tough for Hampton, who has been dealing with injuries throughout his rookie season. He played only two snaps before being sidelined by the Chargers’ medical staff during the playoff game.
Reflecting on his short-lived playoff debut, Hampton expressed his disappointment in an interview with ESPN. “You always want to help your team out in those types of games,” he stated. “So I’m just trying to do everything I can to get back on the field.”
Despite the setback, Hampton’s performance during the regular season demonstrated his potential. The 22nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft completed nine games, rushing for 545 yards and scoring four touchdowns on 124 carries. Additionally, he contributed 192 receiving yards with one touchdown from 32 receptions.
The beach getaway serves as a welcome respite for Hampton as he looks to recover and regroup. With a season filled with challenges, both on and off the field, the time away with Heder appears to be just what he needs to reset before the next chapter of his football career.
