URGENT UPDATE: Two people were shot while driving in north Harris County late Monday night, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO). The incident unfolded around 11:15 p.m. along Cypresswood Drive near FM 1960, raising alarm in the local community.

Witnesses reported that a woman, who was a passenger in a silver SUV, sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. The driver, a man, was also shot in the wrist. Both victims were quickly transported to a nearby hospital, and officials say they are expected to survive.
