During the 2023 season, Refsnyder had a solid performance, batting .269 with nine home runs and 30 RBIs across 70 games, achieving an impressive .838 OPS in 209 plate appearances. His ability to hit effectively against left-handed pitchers has been particularly noteworthy, making him a valuable asset for the Mariners. General Manager Justin Hollander highlighted Refsnyder’s offensive capabilities, stating, “Rob has been one of the most productive hitters against left-handed pitching over the last four seasons and provides balance and impact offensively to our lineup.”

Born in South Korea, Refsnyder gained national recognition as the Most Outstanding Player during the 2012 College World Series, where he played a pivotal role in leading the University of Arizona to an NCAA championship.
