Nominations Open for 2026 Life Sciences Business Visionaries

The nomination process for the 2026 Life Sciences Business Visionaries is now open, as announced by LA Times Studios. This initiative seeks to honor influential leaders in the private equity and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) sectors, particularly those who have made significant contributions to the biotech and pharmaceutical industries over the past two years.

Professionals and organizations providing funding, strategic guidance, or advisory services related to mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions are encouraged to participate. This includes private equity and venture capital investors, bankers, lenders, and professional service advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and business managers. All nominees must be based in California, and a maximum of three individuals from the same firm can be nominated.

Criteria for Nomination

Candidates will be evaluated by the LA Times Studios executive committee based on several key criteria. These include notable successes and accomplishments achieved within the last 12 to 24 months, consistent demonstration of leadership throughout their careers, and both long- and short-term impacts on their organizations and the industry. Additionally, community involvement and board memberships that reflect the nominee’s leadership beyond their immediate role will be considered.

The selected visionaries will be featured in the August 2026 issue of Business by LA Times Studios, which will be distributed alongside the Los Angeles Times. There is no fee to submit a nomination; however, due to publication constraints, only three individuals per company will be profiled.

Submission Guidelines

Nominations can be submitted through the designated form, and early submissions are highly encouraged. It is essential to note that once a nomination is submitted, LA Times Studios staff will not be able to make corrections or revisions. The information provided is subject to editing before publication, and nominees are advised not to submit confidential or changeable information.

Individuals chosen as visionaries will be notified approximately 45 days before the publication date. For any inquiries regarding nominations, interested parties can reach out to Karren Adamyan at 347-8673 or via email at [email protected].

This initiative not only celebrates excellence within the industry but also highlights the pivotal role that leadership plays in driving innovation and transformation in the life sciences sector.
